Green Law 1

Green Law, being only one metre lower than its neighbour Spittal Hill just fails to be a Pentland Hill since the drop between them is only 31m. With decent slopes in all directions, Green Law is a good viewpoint, particularly when looking NE to West Kip, East Kip, Scald Law and South Black Hill.

Naturally climbed as part of the 3.5km broad ridge running from the village of Carlops to the "Kips col" (NT 174604), an ascent of Green Law would be combined with that of Spittal Hill as part of a round based at Carlops or the North Esk Reservoir.

Warning: The information on this page is not sufficient for a safe ascent of this or any other hill and should only be used in combination with an accurate map and outdoor experience.
