Muckle Knock is a small conical hill to the northwest of Baddinsgill Reservoir. Although dominated West Cairn Hill to the north, it offers good views of Baddinsgill Reservoir, the upper Lyne valley and its surrounding hills.
The summit of Muckle Knock makes a worthwhile detour from the drove road between Baddinsgill Reservoir and the foot of the SW ridge of West Cairn Hill.
Warning: The information on this page is not sufficient for a safe ascent of this or any other hill and should only be used in combination with an accurate map and outdoor experience.
